The Whatcom Children's Museum is designed specifically for children from the ages of two through children in second grade, with imaginative play areas and interactive environments encouraging learning through play. Activities include creating a variety of crafts, playing with puppets and creating stories with costumes and props, with special activities scheduled throughout the week. Part of the Whatcom Museum of History & Art complex, the museum is close to the 1892 Old City Hall and the ARCO Exhibits Building in downtown Bellingham.
Open Tue. - Sun. noon - 5:00 p.m.; Thurs. - Sat. opens at 10:00 a.m.
General admission $3.50.
